Victorian Terrace Transformation
The Brief
The garden must be an oasis of calm, containing spaces for relaxing and eating as a family. The garden should be low maintenance as the owners work full-time and have other priorities in their spare time. Advantage should be taken of the orientation of the garden.
Design
Close observatation of how the clients used the existing space, coupled with a detailed assessment of the solar trajectory revealed that the shed had to go. Once this had been agreed, a modern design, reflecting clients tastes was generated.
The finished garden
The clients walk through the space, enjoying the journey. They relax at the end of a busy day on the sundowner deck, surrounded by lush planting.
